The horrible World War 2

Personally, I think that World War 2 was one of the worst moment for the humanity, because a lot of people died killed by another human.
The testimonies of people who were in a nazi or USSR concentration camp are hard of listening, because are so sad and very impressive.
When Second World War finished just some of the guilty people were judged, and in my opinion this is too bad, because people who suffered didn't have consolation. Also, without the action of judging, people around the whole world can be relativistic and choose if the violations of human rights were true or false.
Some people say that every war can be justified, but I think that the violations of human rights, because of a war, don't have justification. In my opinion, always will be bad if someone wants to kill another person to have the whole world power.
The respect between humans is the most important to live, so I would never be willing to go to a war.
Lamentably, I know that no everybody think like me, so probably in the future Third World War is going to take place. I don't know why, neither when. I just don´t want to see that moment in my life.

Malinowski

Bronislaw Malinowski is an anthropologist who was born in Krakow on  7th April of 1884.
Before being and anthropologist, he studied philosophy,  physics, maths, psychology and economy, but then he went to England to study the beautiful career, social anthropology.
In 1914 Malinowski went to Papua New Guinea, where he lived with people of a different culture.
Specially he studied "Kula", a ceremonial exchange of bracelets and necklaces in Trobriand Islands.
Malinowski is a very important man, because he transformed the anthropology. He was an expert ethnographer.
To  be an ethnographer, you have to live with another culture. It means that you have to learn the language, eat their food and make the same things as them. At the same time yo have to study all the situations of your experience in the place.
Personally I admire him, because his ethnography about Kula is so interesting and he did it in another time, when was difficult to travel.
Also, the text about kula was the fist I had to read at the university, so when I remember it I get very emotional.

I love reading

When I was four years old my mother taught me to read and since that moment I didn´t stop reading.
The first book I read in my life was "The ugly duckling" and I was so happy, because it had stickers.
When I grew up I realized that I prefer non-fiction books. Specially I enjoy reading books about the second world war. In fact, my favourite book is "When Hitler stole pink rabbit. It was written by  Judith Kerr, a jewich girl who go out of Germany scaping of nazis.
Also I like to read books about the dictatorship in Chile and the last book I read was "Frazadas del Estadio Nacional" written by Jorge Montealegre. He tells what happened in the National Stadium in Chile, when people was kidnapped by the military.
Is a short but interesting book. I enjoyed reading it, because it motivates me to know more about this important period in Chile and be conscious about the reality lived by some people who was fighting for liberty.
I read the book in three days, so I recommend it to people who like short books and would like "listeing" to people who wanted to tell their story.

My favourite moment in a photograph

I don´t have a favourite photograph, but I have favourite moments and I think that photographies can show you the situations, feeling the same that you feel in that moment of your life. So I am so happy of having cameras, because you can keep, remember and share your best situations.
A good day for me was when I finished high school with my classmates the last year, because we were so happy and everything was love and emotion. That day we decided to make a carnival and we dress up with different disguises. Everybody was laughing and our teacher decided to take us a photograph in our favourite place in the school, the front of a house with an European style.
The photograph shows how happy and friendly was the situation, you can see lots of colours and the emotion in our faces.
I have this photograph in my bedroom, because I can see my classmates, that are my best friends too. When I see it I can continue my day with a big smile.

ANIMALS

I have friends that love all the animals, but personally I just like some animals, specifically my animals.
When I was a kid my brothers and me wanted to have a pet, but we lived in a department, so our parents gave us a turttle, "Paquita".
Then we moved to a house and we started to raise a little cat, "Manjar", that is my favourite animal in the world.
In my opinion the cat is the best pet that a person can have, because is a cute and an independet animal. It has a sand box for bathroom needs and go for a walk alone.
Are more kind of animals apart pets and I think that the use of animals for medical research  is something useful for the humans, because thanks that we have a better health. The problem is when the use of animals is irresponsible and just to hurt them.
I have never been bitten by a dog, but I know people that have been and is terrible, because it hurts your skin and mind. I think that scientists have to stop creating new races of dogs, because is dangerous for the genetics and people security.
I love to be human, but in my opinion we would be perfect if also we could fly. I love swimming in the sea and feel the sun over me, so if I would choose to be an animal, it would be a seagull.

Cell phone, my favourite piece of technology

Nowadays everyone has a cell phone and is not weird to see kids talking and playing with them.
When I was a kid cell phones were just for adults. I had my first one at fourteen years old, but then the television was my favourite piece of technology.
After a year, I traveled to Europe and my father gave me a new cell phone to keep talking despite the distance. I learnt how fabulous was being in contact every time, sending mails and messages.
Now I have the same cell phone but I love it more, because I can use "Whatsapp" keeping a free contact with all my friends and family.
I love talking with my friends any time so I think, I can´t change my habit. My life without my cell phone would be very boring.
Also, I have to say that I am not obsessed with my cell phone, so I could live without it.
I just wish that everybody could use their favourite piece of technology with responsibility.

My expectations for a new semester

This year I am starting a new semester in anthropology. The subjects that I´m doing this term are: Philosophy of social science, Latin American history, Anthropology I, Archaeology I, Biology, methodology of the social science and English.
Because I have a lot to study, this semester I´m not taking extracurriculars, but I would like to take dance classes. Although, in this semester I will be doing others activities at the university. Specifically I am interested in educational research, because I can help society.
I think that this semester is full of challenges, such as making friends and having good grades. So I'm preparing myself to study hard and have a good academic period.
